After Apple Security Update Security Update 2020-007
NET::ERR_CERT_INVALID in Chrome, Safari for certificates that ARE valid. Reboot fixes the issue for 24 hrs and then situation persists. Specifically certificates from DST Root CA X3 chain are affected. I have deleted any expired Root Certs that I hoped were the issue but the problem persists. Present in all user accounts.
Secure connections work fine on Firefox because Mozilla uses its own root store. So the problem is the Mac OS root store.
Ok Thanks. As mentioned a reboot resolves the issue for about 24 hrs. So I have run this and will report back tmrw.
After re install of Security Update the issue returns after 12 hrs. Must be some TTL issue with the Certificate or trustd.
