Office 365

I just purchased my first computer MacBook Air to work from home and I am trying to purchase the subscription for Microsoft 365 and it keeps saying that is blocked even though I created the account with Outlook as they required. I don't know what else to do to make it work. Can anybody help? Also I updated the computer just in case and nothing.
