As the title says - I currently use apple TV app on my TV to watch movies that I have purchased via itunes.
I'd like to know if purchasing the Apple TV Box (4k) will stream movies at a higher bitrate? therefore providing higher quality in visuals and audio.

There are no indications that third party streaming devices with the Apple TV app get a different bitrate.
