snapshot will not work on Big Sur

We understand you're not able to take snapshots on videos with your Mac. We'll be happy to help.

It sounds like you're referring to screenshots of videos that are playing. If so, this can be expected.

It states "Some apps, such as the Apple TV app, might not let you take screenshots of their windows."

Hi,

I can no longer send a screenshot through "messages" after upgrading to Big Sur.

I can take the screenshot however when choosing "messages" it gets stored in Finder.

Can you help?
