IP address

Mac book has no IP address. When I assign an IP address from another of my devices, I get a message on the Mac book that “another device is using this IP address”. Still not able to work on internet with Mac book.

Hi,

System Preferences > Network, set location Automatic.

Or advance... > TCP/IP set Configure IPv4 as Using DHCP.

Or if you are using Ethernet, set Configure IPv4 as Using DHCP.
