Apple Watch SE speakers

How do I get the watch to play music because currently it says “to play audio, connect Bluetooth headphones to your Apple Watch.” I want the watch to play music. Help.

You need to connect earbuds to your watch in order for it to play music.

It will not play music out of it's speaker.

Is this standard for Apple Watch SE? My friends watch does play music.
