Apple Watch competition glitch

I have completed a competition on Apple Watch with one of my friends and throughout the entirety of the competition it showed on my watch that he had accumulated 0 points and on his that I had accumulated 0 points (photo is attached). Now that the competition has completed, it has been saying that they are “tallying points”. Is there any way to get around this glitch and get competition results?

Thanks in advance for any assistance.
