I purchased a song from iTunes in order to make a video for my dad. The song will not transfer over to iMovie!

HI, Rafaelitopz,
In year 2009 iTunes discontinued DRM (Digital Rights Management) protection for songs. It still could have a copyright issue, but not likely. However, all of Apple Music songs have DRM protection and this protection remains even if the song is later downloaded into iTunes.
What steps are you doing to import the song into iMovie, and what happens when you try?
Try dragging the song to your desktop and from there dragging it into an iMovie project timeline.

This is probably because the song is copyrighted like most and you are not allowed to use it in films etc.
We are not permitted to help anyone circumvent copyright unlike others on YouTube etc. 😇
