Email from apple

Hello, I got an email from iCloud ID that says


ā€œYour apple Iā€ŒD has been lā€Œoā€Œcā€Œkā€Œeā€Œd on Thursday, December, 24 2020 for security reasons

If you do not respond within 12 hours of this email, your account will be suspended and you will no longer be able to accessā€


is it for real or is it just some spam mail? When I click the link to verify my account they want med to fill in all my numbers address and card number? When they asked for card number I got suspicious...

  • Apple would not warn of a pending account issue, giving you a deadline to fix the issue.Ā Ā 
  • Apple does not include document, or PDF files to download.
  • Apple would not refer to you as Dear Customer, Dear Client, or anything other than the name on file for your account.
  • Apple would not have such horrible spelling or grammar.Ā 
  • Apple would not send a message to ā€œUndisclosed Recipientsā€.Ā 


It is a phishing attempt. Do not respond. Do not divulge any personal or financial information. You can use the address below to forward the suspect email message, as an attachment to Apple.

If you provided your Apple ID and password at the bogus site, change your password immediately.
