We lost our Apple TV remote and would like to know if it is possible to use the phone as the remote. The instructions online say that this is possible however we cannot enter the four digit code that shows on the Apple TV because we don’t have a remote. Does anyone know a workaround?

as it is a bit different for the 2nd and 3rd generation, compared to the later models.
Hello but that does not help solve my problem. I didn’t program my phone with the Apple TV before the remote became lost and I have no way to enter the four-digit pin into the Apple TV without a remote.
