Error message: ImageCaptureCore error -9912

1. Disconnect the cable from the camera and the iMac.
2. Remove the camera card from the camera, as per the instructions.
3. Plug the camera card into the iMac's SD card reader slot or a USB card reader.
4. Import the photos from the camera card into Photos or whatever Photo software you use.
5. Eject and remove the camera card from the iMac's or USB card reader slot and return it to the camera.

Is this error coming from a Wi-Fi or a USB connection?

Some camera manufactures are blocking or no longer support direct cabling to computers.

Try removing the camera card from the camera and plug it into the iMac's SD card reader or a USB card reader.
