ImageCaptureCore error -9912

Just tried to import pics to Photos from iPhone 7 to Mac book pro and received error message 'ImageCaptureCore error -9912'. I have done this 100's times before and never had an issue. Looked online and cant find any replies to same question by others. Can someone point me in the right direction.

Thanks

Hello Sraisin,

After reviewing your post, it sounds like you are trying to import photos from the iPhone 7 to the MacBook Pro, but you are now receiving an error. One thing you may want to try is updating to the latest version of macOS and iOS available. You could also try booting into safe mode and try to upload again. Safe mode will disable other software from running in the background.

How to download macOS High Sierra
Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Use safe mode to isolate issues with your Mac
