Proximity sensor issue

When I am in a call for the first time in that day my screen goes black when I keep near my ear and it is not waking up ... I have to press the home button to wake it up ... this continues all day in my iPhone 7... pls someone give me a solution ... my proximity is working fine ... but sometimes this issue is happening

If so, we would love to help see if we can get the issue resolved for you. Let's go ahead and follow the troubleshooting steps we've linked for you below to restart the device.


Force restart iPhone


Once you've done that, if the issue returns, please provide the following details.


Does the issue only happen when making calls with the Phone app, or another app?


When did the issue start?


Does the issue happen on every call?


What version of iOS do you see under Settings > General > About > Software Version?
