I am trying to pair my son’s Apple Watch using Family Sharing but I keep getting an error message that says “ClubH Error: Unable to send message to Club-H Controller”. Can anyone advise?

Update - I tried reseting it directly on the watch and then restarting the watch before starting the setup process again and this time early in the setup process it triggered a software update request. Updating the Apple Watch to 7.2 now and perhaps that'll do it. There was no telling which watchOS it came with but I figure being a new device it shipped with 7.0+ which would already have supported Family Setup. I'll report back if that made a difference.

I tried setting up two different new Apple Watch SE for our kids and same thing. Another friend said he’s having trouble setting up his new HP minis - getting sign in error as well only the Home App gives a more esque error vs these. It possible  is getting slammed with new device activations. It’s really disappointing as our kids were so excited for their first Devices.

im hoping it’ll be better later in the day or that support provides a fix. I had wondered if it was perhaps a watchOS issue where out of the box they need updating but hearing of similar sign in issues with HP mini it points to more of an iCloud issue. Who knows AWS could be throwing a fit again.
