I have an extensive collection of iTunes songs on my laptop and my iPad. To play them on my Echo5 it says that Ia have to have a Apple Music subscription at $9.95 per month to hear my own songs. Is this right?

I have an extensive collection of records on my iTunes library on my laptop and my iPad. Why do I have to pay $9.95 per month to Apple to listen to my own music on Echo 5. Or am I wrong? Thanks in advance for the help.

I have no personal experience but the following may help. See https://www.amazon.com/bizmodeller-My-Media/dp/B06XPP135L

To get started, visit https://www.mymediaskill.com and click the Download link to install the My Media for Alexa app on the computer that contains your home media library or iTunes library.

the full instructions are in https://www.amazon.com/bizmodeller-My-Media/dp/B06XPP135L
