So I have to pay subscription money to apple to use my music?

I upgraded to a new iMac with Monterey, and my iPhone has updated. Apparently it's not easy to transfer my music from iTunes to Music. I have to pay for a subscription to Music?

Soooo, not exactly. The way it works is when you buy music from iTunes it shows up in the Music app. You can play it from there.



Now, the fact of the matter is yes and no.

Yes, you can pay and be able to listen to samples directly through music.

No, music still works despite having the option to pay if you don’t pay
