Big Sur Touch ID MacBook Air Not Working

During Touch ID configuration was trying to add iTunes payment unsuccessfully. Tried to toggle other functions and they would not add as well. Tried to add a finger print unsuccessfully as well.

Tried deleting my first finger print and was not able to add.

Appears to be a bug.

touch id not working Anyone have any issues with their touch ID? Just recently i updated my MacBookAir and ever since my Touch ID for whatever reason stopped working. I was told to delete the finger print and re-add it. I did just that but now its not letting me add a finger print...I type my password in and seconds later nothing happens. Anyone know a possible fix to this?

MacBook Air Touch ID didn't work After last update to Big Sur, My MacBook Air finger print doesn’t work. I can’t add fingers. This push not active. Then I push Add FingerPrint, this option doesn’t respond.

Try all via Safe Mode ( Shift ) at startup
