Thank you for that information. Recently AT&T updated their security and do not allow direct access to their mail. It requires that you enable access. Check out Create a secure mail key.


You may need to reach out to them for further assistance if you run into any issues.

Thank you for posting in Apple Support Communities. From our understanding, you are getting a pop up to enter the password for one of your Mail accounts, do we have that right? Does this happen on Wi-Fi and cellular? Is the password correct? Are you able to sign into the webmail with the same password? Is the software on your device up to date? Who is your email provider?

Thanks for the reply. Yes the password is correct and I can use it to log into webmail just not directly from my phone. This happens with wi-fi and cellular. I am trying to connect to att.net and it worked fine until I changed my password on the provider site due to a security warning. Now my iPhone tells me no password has been entered but it is entered. I have deleted my account and tried to set up several times and reset my phone and the same message appears, no mail can be delivered because there is no password even though there is. My iOS is 14.3 and I am up to date.
