Apple Music not working on my Mac

I have an Apple Music Family Sharing subscription on my phone and just the other day a bought a Macbook but when I go on to Apple Music the subscription isn't there and I don’t know what to do or how to fix this because from my information both you phone and Macbook have the same Apple ID so it should be working, right? Anyways if anyone can help please respond i'm desperate lol

It sounds like you were experiencing an issue where your Apple Music subscription wasn’t showing when you open the Music app on your Mac when you were logged in with the same Apple ID that you use with Apple Music on your iPhone.


We know how important it is to have your music wherever you are, so if we’re on the same page, we’d like to help.


On your Mac open the Music app, and in the menu bar at the top of your screen, choose Account > Sign In, and sign in with the same Apple ID and password you use on your iPhone with Family Sharing.


If you already see your Apple ID listed here, try checking to see if you need to turn on Sync Library:
