Hacking

I saw a note on my new IPhone 12 Pro Max screen stating that my “phone has been hacked” and I should “close it”. How is that possible? I did shut off the phone for 30 minutes and then turned it back on. How do I know for sure that my phone is not hacked. Can anyone advise me what to do?

Hacking? Whilst on google I had a message pop up that looked like a legitimate Apple message saying my phone had been hacked, it had a option to press a protection button with a timer of 2 minutes counting down advising me to press to Quickly protect my iPhone. I didn’t however do this, but I’m worried has my phone been genuinely hacked?
