HomePod Intercom not working.

First, all devices in my home are up to date including my new HomePod. I can use the intercom from a device (iPhone and iPads) and it plays on the HomePod but not other devices. Most troublesome is when I use Intercom from HomePod, no devices receive the message. All Apple Support links provide the most basic instructions for setup (which have been done repeatedly) but provide no troubleshooting or additional direction. All devices are checked to ‘Anywhere’, have most current software updates (14.3), and names have been toggled. Any ideas are welcome.

Other than toggling all the toggles and power cycling all devices, router included, I don't think I have anything else to suggest. I don't think there is a troubleshooting article for Intercom yet. You can always try Apple Support.
