Apple Fitness plus: Is it possible to increase just the music volume and lower the one of the trainer?

I agree - the audio mixes on the workouts are horrible. The music volume is too soft, and the instructors voices are overpowering. When I turn up the volume to be able to feel the beat of the music, especially during spin rides, the instructor voice is unbearably loud.

In a live spin class, the music is the driver, aided by guidance from the instructor. Please re-adjust the mix, or give us an option to adjust the instructor volume relative to the music volume. Perhaps an option to mute the instructor audio track with closed captions added is another solution?

The cycling mixes are a mess. The trainers are great, the music is solid, the ratio of the volume between the two is like listening to a conversation with elevator music going on. To the guy with the volume mixer - less infomercial more DJ.

This should absolutely be addressed. My only hesitation in using these workouts is that right now my only option is either 1.) music volume that is far too soft to push me through a workout or 2.) an instructor that is deafening.

At the very least, please offer a few presets. Perhaps: Original. No music. And louder music.

I just received the free trial and did my first workout and already noticed that the instructors voice is way too loud in comparison to the music. This needs to be fixed or I will cancel at the end of my free trial.

Was there any resolve for this? I've just joined for the cycling classes and you can barely hear the music, which is extra weird when it's the theme of the classes. The instructors voices are way too loud in comparison.

I wish Apple would address this. My free trial is almost up and I probably won’t continue it because this only reason. To hear the music at all you have to turn up the volume to an uncomfortable level, making the trainer super loud and annoying.

I’m in France and been waiting for fitness plus for all most a year…what a disappointment after my 2 first workouts.

Yes to this. The instructors voices are much too loud on rowing workouts. Peloton gives three options, more music, more voice and in between. It would also be nice to have more music choices. The rowing workout mixes are awful. Usually just top 10 pop.

This is exactly the reason that I and everyone I know that tried Apple Fitness+ moved to Peloton for cycling. It's been an issues ever since it was released and its all over blog posts. yet they've done nothing about it.

Anybody having this issue and waiting for a resolution from Apple, don't hold your breath.

Just finishing another cycling workout and found myself again frustrated with the volume of the coach in comparison to the music. The coaches are great, but they tend to talk and sing through the workout at twice the volume of the music. I felt compelled to research if there was functionality to change volume levels which led me to this forum. Would appreciate some feedback and roadmap considerations for this type of functionality. Volume control is very much needed. I cannot hear the music with the instructor babbling on about listening to the lyrics when I can’t hear anything with them talking over the music constantly. Either talk less to guide us through the intervals or let the music be a bit louder.
