Hi, have a MacBook Pro, erased disk, reinstalled os (mountain lion 10.8), when I go to update iTunes error 102 keeps showing, can’t update os without getting latest iTunes, any suggestions, cheers.

Are you trying to upgrade to a newer version of macOS? If so, then you can download macOS 10.11 El Capitan from outside the App Store. I would recommend creating a bootable macOS USB installer:

After that you should be able to access later macOS installers if your Mac meets the hardware requirements for later versions of macOS.
