Bluetooth noise issue

Recently my iPhone 6 has some issue with bluetooth accessories.

A wireless earphone receives bad signal from the phone, with seconds without audio after other seconds with it.

Same thing was happening with a external bluetooth speaker.

They have just gifted to me a brand new Apple airpods. The same issue is coming, less than the devices I have just described, but it happens.

Are there some steps should I follow to understand how my bluetooth is going?

Thanks

iPhone 6, iOS 11

I am also having weird Bluetooth sounds and connection issues after pairing to devices. It happens in all devices I have paired with that are not Apple. It will say connected and I’ll see the music is playing on paired device, yet there is no sound.

I am constantly having to forget device, re-pair to get iPhone 6s to play through my car speakers(using SYNC) and wireless ear pieces.

It says connected yet sound kicks in and out. It usually starts after about 30 min of being paired and also happens occasionally when iPhone is being heavily used while paired to Bluetooth for music.

text messages will not come through on paired devices from IPhone 6s, phone calls answered both using sync and manually on Iphone6s, will pick how it wants you to talk. I’m never given the option to choose either SYNC, IPhone or speaker like it did before the update to IOS 13

Only solution I’ve found is to unpair device, turn Bluetooth off and back on, then pair to device. Yet it always seems to repeat the issue after so long.

Have not found permanent fix.

I have read this troubleshooting article, which pertains to Mac and has very little tips for iPhone other than move closer to router(I wasn’t using router or WiFi with my issues don’t WiFi is set to off) or move from power lines, metal object, etc My sound, skipping, scrambling, and loss of sound completely is on an IPhone 6s using new iOS update and while I’m in my Car that uses SYNC be Ford.

None of the tips in article have solved the issue. Would you happen to have an article which explains a permanent fix for Bluetooth sound loss, auto disconnecting, etc that does not involve WiFi interface!?
