Closing apps the ‘correct’ way on iPhone

Hi,

I know this probably seems trivial, but I’ve been reading about how it’s wrong to close apps by swiping up on your iPhone or iPad. It’s essentially force-quitting. Is there a better way? Even though they recommend not closing apps sometimes things get cluttered and you just want to clean up. Can you close apps all at once?

Thanks!

think apples stance is you don't

they handle it, apps you swipe away from are not really running anymore

they're not using cpu or memory

unlike on a normal computer, the schedular and memory management system take care of it for you
