why my iPhone keeps disconnecting from my Mac,
I have a mid 2015 macboook pro and when I try to plug my phone or my wife's iPhone ,it connects and disconnects constantly , I can do anything .

Two possibilities to consider: (i) the cord is problematic, (ii) give the phone a fuller charge before connecting.
