Messaging with images to non apple devises

I have people I send messages to that are not using an apple devise. They do not get my pictures. How can I make it so they get my pictures?

When trying to send it gives me a message that says to turn on MMS. BUT, my MMS is on in preferences. What can I do?

iPhone XS, iOS 14

Hi there, marydenise.

It appears that you're having a problem sending a picture to Android devices using the Messages application. Good job making sure that MMS Messaging was turned on, and we're glad to help with this.

Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support -- Make sure your iPhone is up to date. The latest version is iOS 14.3. If your iPhone needs updating, be sure to have a recent backup before you begin: How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support. Test the issue once the process has completed.

About iMessage and SMS/MMS - Apple Support -- If updating your iPhone didn't resolve the issue, and since MMS Messaging is a carrier feature, contact them to see if you account supports this. If this feature was turned on, go to Settings > Messages and turn off MMS Messaging. Then restart your iPhone, and turn on MMS Messaging again once your phone is back to the Home screen.

Feel free to get back to us with any questions or problems you may have.

All the best.
