iCloud Photos: Folder structure differ between devices

Hi Everyone,

I have noticed that the structure of my folders (not albums) in iCloud Photos differ between devices.

My iPhone 11 runs the latest iOS 14.3 and there are 2 out of 23 folders that appear in a different sequence compared to iCloud Photos on my web browser.

When I correct that issue on my web browser, the sequence is messed up on my iPhone. When I correct the structure on my iPhone, the structure of the fodlers in the web browser is different again.

Does anyone know how to fix that?

Thanks for your response. I created folders to sort albums within them. I have figured out the problem tho. You can automatically sort folders by name or date on the mac os photos app. You can not do so however in neither the iPhone or browser app. I have set sort by date on my mac. The iPhone app apparently ignores this. As a result it caused the different sequence between devices.
