Issues on iPhone 8 after upgrading to iOS 14.2

My iPhone 8 is freezing during messaging, the back button disappears left with no option to go back to other messages. The only way to get out it is to stop the message app and restart it.

When trying to adjust the media volume using buttons, the ringer volume responds even if the phone is turned on to silent.

Tapping a folder of app sometimes doesn’t instantly opens the folder straight away instead it gives options for editing for deleting or rearranging of apps.
