iphone 7 plus full memory not turning on

I can't turn on my iPhone 7 plus due to lack of memory. I can't update it either. The only way to get it to work is to restore it, but I have too many invaluable family photos on there of my last overseas trip that were not backed up yet. I will do anything to get access to these files. I reported this in January 2020. I was told Apple was working on a fix for this issue as other iPhone users were facing the same problem. It's unacceptable that a device can't start up due to lack of memory. There should have been a safe buffer build in the OS to prevent this from happening. I wasn't able to delete files or apps. I was told by an Apple employee that the reason for this is that deleting files actually requires memory to execute this task. Can someone please assist and update us if there's a fix for this problem. Your support would be very much appreciated. I haven't been able to use my iPhone 7 Plus for almost a year now.

You cannot increase storage of iPhone. However, you can optimize iPhone Storage by using iCloud Storage. Save space on your device

Settings > [your name] > iCloud Tap Photos > Choose Optimize [device] Storage Set up and use iCloud Photos - Apple Support

You can buy iCloud Storage. --> Buy more iCloud storage - Apple Support

You can manage your storage --> How to check the storage on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Manage your Storage --> Manage your photo and video storage - Apple Support

Your photos are always available for both iPhone and iCloud. You delete it on iPhone it is gone from iCloud and vice-versa. To save space on your iPhone use optimized iPhone storage. Remember, if you delete in one it is deleted everywhere.

Get started with iCloud Photos:

  1. Tap Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Photos.
  1. Turn on iCloud Photos.
  1. Select Optimize iPhone Storage to save space on your device.

With Optimize Storage, smaller, space-saving photos and videos are kept on your device while all of your original, full-resolution versions are stored in iCloud. And as long as you have enough space in iCloud, you can store as many photos and videos as you want.
