I"m trying to mirror my Apple One fitness app to my TV, so I can workout in my living room.I can view the preview on my TV, and I see the countdown,3,2,1, however, when it starts to play my tv goes blank and only the audio works.Does anyone know why?

Apple designed Apple Fitness+ to be used with specific devices for the intended total experience. I am curious to see if they will stick with the non-AirPlay policy. You could make a request: Feedback - Apple Watch - Apple
Your Lightning-to-HDMI cord will have many of the same abilities and limitations as AirPlay Screen Mirroring, as both are mirroring from an allow-vs.-restrict point-of-view.
I think it would not be a licensing issue, as licensing is often for borrowing from another company, not within the same company.
Here is a follow-up question.Why do you think I have the ability to mirror the preview on my TV, but not the actual workout.If I can watch the preview I must have the correct technology.Could it be a license issue ?,also I have a lightning to HDMI cord that plugs directly into my iPhone 11 and into my TV and I still only can watch and hear the preview but yet I can only hear the workout
Thanx again for your response,I think your absolutely correct. Allow-vs-restrict,unfortunately for me I think I must be in the restrict part of that equation.Yes,I to would be curious to know what Apple will be doing in the near future with their current
policy.I'll use the Feedback link that you sent me to ask them,I'll keep you posted if I get a response.
Thanx for that,I do have an apple TV, but it's the 3rd generation, so close and yet so far away.
