The macbook pro power button doesnt work, the machime doesnt boot up when the button is pressed.

Hi, ever since day one of owning my new MacBook pro A2251 whenever I want to turn it on I have to press and hold the power button for +10 seconds to get it to power on. Boot up, and running it is fast, but the actual power on does not happen until holding power button down for +10 seconds. Macbook in need of power button to be pressed multiple times repeatedly to start up I have a 2019 MacBook Air, and I had had this problem for years now (possibly from the start). The MacBook doesn't start up when it is on battery power unless I press the power button repeatedly at least 3 or 4 times. Maybe this is normal, im not sure. if it is, is there a way to simply start up the computer simply by pressing the power button once?
