unable tu upload files using Safari 14.0.1 & 14.0.2

After updating Safari to 14.0.1 I was unable to upload any files. Same problem with latest update 14.0.2.

The button to the file dialog to allow me to pick a file in the Finder does nothing.

Its a bug with 14.01 and 14.02 - Either use a different browser, or revert back to 14.00, or manually open up a new finder window, navigate to file/s and drag& drop them on the appropriate 'file upload' button.

What Bladerunner says: Its a bug with 14.01 and 14.02 - Either use a different browser, or revert back to 14.00, or manually open up a new finder window, navigate to file/s and drag & drop them on the appropriate 'file upload' button. Is totally the case! Other browsers are fine! So please give us another update or move back to 14.0 and see where it did go wrong from there.

Hey beretred,

We see that you're unable to upload files using the Safari app, and we'd like to help!

Are you having this issue with a specific website or multiple websites? Have you tested another web browsers such as FireFox or Chrome to see if you experience the same issue?

To help us further isolate the issue, please try this again while you're in safe mode. Follow the steps from here: How to use safe mode on your Mac

Let us know how it goes!

Best regards.
