Apple TV app on Vizio stopped working

I have been using the Apple TV+ app on my Vizio smart TV for a few months. I used it all day yesterday, then magically it stopped working. I shut off the tv to take a shower, then went back to watch some shows and now every video I load it says that the video can't play. I tried it again this morning and it still won't play anything. Any idea how to fix this?

I was finally able to get it resolved, but I had to do more than reset the Apple TV app. I did that twice and it didn't work. I also reset my network and that didn't work. The only thing that finally worked was to completely reset my Vizio TV to factory settings and then sign back in completely (network, Apple, setup, all my other streamers, etc.). I hope that I don't have to do that again.
