New iPhone 12 unable to connect to Audi Wifi

Hi!

I just replaced my iPhone 11 Pro Max with an iPhone 12 Pro and I can not get it to connect to my Audi A6 2020 wifi. The 11Pro connected without issue and I have tried everything. A message pops up from apple.com Audi_MMI_4070 that reads

"Error Opening Page - Hotspot login cannot open the page because it could not establish a secure connection to the server."

I am supremely frustrated - HELP!

Yes, of course there is and I entered both the user name and PW.

I set this up on my old phone and there was not an issue. I set up my new phone from my old phone information transfer.

I re-entered the UN and PW, I forgot the network, I reset the lease, I force re-started my phone. I can connect other devices to the car so it is NOT an Audi issue.

Please advise.

Is there a userID and password that is needed for hotspot ?

There should be otherwise anyone could log into your car.

Maybe you need to speak to audi for them to advise on this
