Hi there, I have recently updated to Big Sur, and have noticed some of my apps have stopped working, one being Karabiner-Elements, However when trying to delete the app/file in "Get info", the "Locked" toggle is checked and the padlock is greyed out. The file also has system as the only one that can read/write. Please help, how can I delete or unlock this app?

Hi, Thanks for the advice. I tried to delete it through the app, but it didn’t open, so I ran the text in the command line and it deleted the app but still left a 0kb file. So I reinstalled the app and uninstalled it through the apps menu, and that worked.
Look to your third party app developers website <Karabiner-Elements> for an official uninstaller
Have you tried right-clicking on the application and selecting Move to Trash? This will require an administrator password.
