just got this computer off of ebay and need to reset it youtube has put me where I am half way done but cant complete because I dont have the passwords

Return that Mac in accordance with eBay's policies. The seller did not properly prepare it to be sold. You should not have to cope with such inconvenience.

And, if you want to buy any used Mac, make sure the seller follows all of these instructions:

Following the above will present any buyer with the same interface as if you had purchased it new and you can immediately set it up using your own Apple ID, passwords, etc.
