Wrong aspect ratio for TV shows on Apple TV app

I’d like to add to a recent post about this issues which continues to persist. Despite suggestions to reinstall the Apple TV app on my Samsung smart TV, it shows TV shows in the 4:3 ratio making it ‘stretched’.

Does anyone else have a solution to this issue??? Assume this would require an app update to fix it... Apple???!!!

Wrong aspect ratio playback The Apple TV app on my Samsung smart TV displays the wrong aspect ratio for SD shows. I can’t change the ratio on the TV or in the app settings. The only way I can watch in the correct ratio is if I stream from my iPad/phone to the TV. Is there a fix coming for this? It’s so annoying

Apple TV Plus app on Google TV plays video very small I have a Chromecast (with Google TV) plugged in to one of my TVs and use the Apple TV plus app on it regularly. Recently, all videos play in the top right corner (picture attached). The menus all show up with the correct aspect ratio and resolution, but all video content gets shrunk down. This is very recent (last few days), and content that used to play fine has the problem. Other apps on the Chromecast have no problems.
