left shift key help

When I hold down my left shift key to capitalize it minimizes my window. I was trying to create a keyboard shortcut and accidentally hit command and the left shift key and now I do not know how to When I hold down my left shift key it minimizes my window. I somehow messed up when I tried to create a keyboard shortcut. Any ideas on how I can fix it ? Can you tell I am an extremely new MacBook Air user??? LOL

It appears that a keyboard shortcut was accidentally made to where now when you hold down the Shift key. You can read more about creating keyboard shortcuts here: Create keyboard shortcuts for apps on Mac


You can uncheck the keyboard shortcut by going to Apple  menu > System Preferences > Keyboard > Shortcuts tab > App Shortcuts. After that, you should be okay to hold down the Shift key without minimizing windows.
