Iphone 11 freezes when editing old photos of iphone 5s

I have a lot of photos taken with the iphone 5s stored on icloud. When I go to the photos app and click on one of them to try to edit: the manual options work well ( exposition, contrast etc) but the filter option does not and freezes the whole app and I have to close everything.

some of this photos do have old filters from iphone 5s and I remember I could still edit the filters with my previous Iphone XR.

is this an error of the new ios 14.3?

Hey joselyn213,

See from your post that the photos app will become non-responsive when attempting to edit specific photos.

To aid us in isolating this issue, it appears you're using iCloud Photos. Under Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Photos, is the option "Download and Keep Originals" selected?

Additionally, if you have other devices and attempt to edit the same photo does the issue persist?

Finally, take a moment to restart your iPhone, and test the issue from there.

Restart your iPhone
