Kodak fz53 camers the connection failed

I just bought Kodak fz53. I connected from the camera to tranfer some pictures when I saw the connection failed 10 times. I changed something on the screen and I saw the pictures on the screen. Next day, I was tranfering some pictures every time I saw the connection failed again. I thought the battery would be low so I charged the camera but I tried to tranfer them but every time I see the connection failed again. Can anybody help me please?

Hey surfbugbob,

We see that you're experiencing a connection fail with your Kodak camera, and we'd like to help!

Based off of the information available on the Kodak website, that specific camera comes with a USB cable to connect it to a computer. If possible, try connecting the camera to your Mac with another USB cable or another computer to see if you experience the same issue. You may also want to try connecting another USB device to your Mac to test out the USB ports to make sure they are functioning properly.

You'll find some additional steps to help troubleshoot the USB port on your computer in the "Get the best performance from your USB devices" section here: About USB on Mac computers. We recommend going through all of those steps next. This can help us further isolate the issue between the cable, the camera and your Mac.

If the issue persists after that, we recommend that you contact the manufacturer of the camera to ensure there aren't any additional steps you need to take on the camera to get it working with your Mac. This link may be helpful: How Do I Get My Photos Off The FZ53 Camera? - Kodak
