How to define which folder is Archive folder on Exchange account connected to Apple Mail?

Hi,

I have Microsoft365 service with an e-mail account with Polish language settings, so the Archive folder name on the server seems to be different than english name which is of course Archive.

After successful configuration of Apple Mail in Big Sur on MacBook Pro I found that in this e-mail client the archive folder is created by the program and is it not the same which exists on the server. So, when I hit Archive button to move there a message it goes to Apple Mail archive (logical...) but not to Exchange account archive.

Question: How to select which folder is recognised by Apple Mail as an archive?

I don't have an Exchange account, but the normal way is to use the Mailbox Behaviors tab in Mail Preferences.

Select Accounts, then you Exchange account. There should be a popup menu for setting the Junk, Trash, and Archive mailboxes.

Thanks but it is not a solution for Exchange account in Apple Mail.

The behaviour of the program is as following:

When I open my Exchange account mailbox in Apple Mail it DOES NOT contain any mailbox with icon showing off an archive.
After I select a message, then right click and select 'Archiwizuj' option (move to folder dedicated to be an archive...) - Apple Mail creates this mailbox/folder, and names it 'Archive', then puts there this message. But it is not an account archive as it has a different name (the same would be for other non-english lanaguages).

In settings there is no option to select upfront which Exchange mailbox/folder should be recognised as 'archive'.
