iTunes match now in apple music Not syncing with devices

My iTunes match account is just about totally in the iCloud I have recently purchased a new iPhone 12 pro its logged in with the same apple id as my computers account where my iTunes match account is displaying in apple music on my iPhone the music account is blank bar one recent purchase none of iTunes match music, play lists etc are displaying in on my iPhone.

From what i have read it only need to share from my mac pro account to make this content available on my iPhone I have removed my old iPhone from this account and returned it to factory settings.

On My new iPhone, in music setting there is an option to sync music to the cloud but i have not touched this incase it wipes all my music from iTunes Match and replaces it with the one item in this version of apple music

Can anyone let me know what to do

Hi Graeme Armitage1,

We see you're wanting to use iTunes Match on your new iPhone. We have great information to help. You will want to enable Sync library on your new device to enable this feature. Here is more information on this process.

Subscribe to iTunes Match

Specifically these steps will help.

"To access your songs and playlists on other devices, turn on Sync Library on all of your devices.

When you sign in with the Apple ID that you use with iTunes Match on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, or PC, you associate that device with your account and get access to your music library.

It might take some time for iTunes Match to upload your music from your Mac or PC. If you don't see your music on another device right away, check back later. When iTunes Match is finished uploading your music library, Download  appears next to music that's been uploaded."

Have a great week!
