Why can’t I use my Touch ID to get apps?

Hey Hairycarey,
We understand you're unable to use Touch ID to download apps. Making sure iTunes & App Store is enabled in Settings > Touch ID & App Store. For more information, click here: Use Touch ID on iPhone and iPad. Once there, scroll down to the section labeled "Use Touch ID to unlock your iPhone or make purchases".
If issue persists, back up your device and make sure it's up-to-date by following the steps here: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
