My iPhone 12 mini not showing up in Finder

When I plug my new iPhone 12 mini (iOS 14.3) into my MacBook Pro (10.13.6) it pops up iTunes and I can see the device. If I open Photos, I can see my phone under DEVICES. But if I open Finder, I don't see my iPhone in the sidebar. I was reading this article and it indicates that I should see "AJ iPhone 12 mini" in Finder's Sidebar. Is this a limitation to using High Sierra?

Any ideas?

No it is not a limitation. Starting with Catalina, the Finder is used to display a connected device. Previous operating systems use iTunes.
