Cut and Paste in Finder

Any help here. I know this makes it 'easy' to use but as any moderate power user would like this. I am new to Mac and would like any recommendations for these small things from the switch from windows.

Unlike the Windows Explorer, the Finder in macOS does not use cut, but rather copy and paste with modifier (option, command) keys to copy or move files between Finder locations. One can drag and drop a file from one location to another, and if hovering over a folder, that folder will automatically open to accept the move or copy operation.
