How to resize the default file upload window

Recently when I use my web browser (either Safari or Google Chrome) to upload or download a file from the Internet, my default file download/upload window is too small - much smaller than before. See the attached picture. I have to resize it every time in order to show more folders on the left. How to change the default size to make it bigger? I am using macOS Big Sur ver. 11.1 on an iMac 27" 2019.

Hello YoungPineTree,

We see that you're looking for details on how to permanently resize your Finder window on your Mac. We can understand wanting this page to open larger for you. To change these settings, open Finder. Once Finder has been opened, hold down the Option key and resize the window to the size you want for it to remain. Then, close all Finder windows. Next time you open a new one (or one is automatically opened), it will remember the size you chose.

Best regards!
