If your TV supports Airplay 2 you can stream directly to it. If it doesn't you could buy an Apple TV and mirror to it. Or you can buy the digital adapter and an HDMI cable and connect.

Utilizing Lightning to HDMI Adapter for TV after updating to iOS 16.2 I updated my iPad 6th generation to iOS 16.2.. My lightning to HDMI adapter no longer works with my Samsung smart tv. I have two older Samsung tv’s. I have been using the same HDMI and lightning cable with no issues. Once I updated from iOS 15 to 16 the cable no longer works on any of the televisions. I have changed both the HDMI cable and lightning cable with new ones, no change. I tried to utilize my iPhone with the same cables, no difference. Was there an update with the new iOS preventing the lightning to HDMI cable to transfer movies from iPad or iPhone to the television?
