MBP Big Sur says unknown error 7005 when iPhone or iPad are connected

Finally updated my MacBook Pro (2014) to macOS 11.1 so I could access my iPhone X running iOS 14.3 and iPad Pro 12.9 (Beta iPadOS 14.4).

When I connected both devices via Wi-Fi and USB, I open the Finder window and all I see is "An unknown error occurred (7005)". Have rebooted all devices.

However, after I opened the macOS "Music" app, I was able to access the iPad. It doesn't actually show the music that is on the iPad (grrrr) but it did make it so I can access all of the options inside of Finder for the iPad (including Backup and Storage).

Unfortunately, I am still unable to access the iPhone, and am looking for any troubleshooting tips for "An unknown error occurred (7005)".

Any tips or ideas are greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I changed absolutely nothing, but after stepping away for awhile, the next time I opened Finder, the Phone was now connected and usable through both Finder and Music. I have to assume that there was some background process as part of the long-tail of the upgrade to Big Sur that was causing the issue.
