Upgrading to Mac Os Big Sur

I cannot access my adminstrator mode with my password and not use my touch ID on my 13 inch 2018 Macbook Air after upgrading to Mac Os Big Sur. I can still log in as administrator but cannot unlock the administrator mode to make changes in System Preferences.

I believe u meant SMC. I did the SMC reset and it worked. Thank you very much
